Storage Issue - Remove Unnecessary Dell backups

Theres this fun thing that happens where dell support assist decides to ignore the rule of how much space it takes up for backups.

This can be identified using wiztree. Dont try to download from the web it is blocked. See John for the installer. You also don't need to confirm with wiztree. The worst thing that will happen is you will waste a few minutes and it will be something else taking up space, and the user will not have an active device backup for probably a few hours. I would lean towards running this with any known storage issues.

run it and hit scan on the c drive. Look at SARemediation folder. It will show as below, except it will be quite large, 80+ gigs:

Where it says 29gb, if that is much larger then thats your issue. This picture is from my machine which is not having this issue, but machines that are often have this as around 100gb.

After Wiztree or Start here if you skipped Wiztree

To fix, run the Dell_Backup_Cleanup bat file on the machine in question. If you dont have their login this will still work if you sign in as yourself.

MAKE SURE to remember to right click - run as admin otherwise it will not work.

After check storage and you should see much more room.
