Check that you are synced

Many applications require you to be signed in and synced within the chrome browser. Here is how to check this:

Please note, if you are on a chromebook you are automatically sync'd. It will look different but you dont need to do this. 

Click your icon in the top right after singing in to chrome. It may be a picture of your first initial:

If you see "sync is on" then you are all set. If there is a button to turn sync on, do that. There may be additional prompts that come up, complete the positive action for those. For example it may say "link data" and then there may be an option which says "yes, I am in".
