Update Windows

*Our update policy for staff laptops is to install updates automatically, and then notify when a restart is required with a 7 day grave period. You typically should not have to do this, but you may if there are issues. Desktop computers will require manual updates

Go to the windows search bar at the bottom of the screen and type check for updates. Click and open the icon:

Under windows update you will see a check button. Click that, and then updates that are needed will show. You can see their install status, and when required you will be prompted to restart as shown below:
