Powerschool Special Programs - Assume System Admin role
These steps detail how to assume the system admin role. To do this you will need the system admin password. If you do not have this, please send in a ticket
This will need to be done to do things like make configuration changes, edit the "central admin" security group, and other administrator based tasks. Please note that even though this role has elevated privileges, you cannot use this role to "sign in as a user" which is very useful in order to test permissions. To do so, follow this guide.
Administration - Assume system admin role
Enter your reason for doing so (I usually just write "access"). Then enter the admin passcode. Again submit a ticket if you feel you need this but do not have it.
You will then be logged in as the admin. To confirm look for the A in the top right.
