To reinstall Drive for desktop to fix miscellaneous issues in Microsoft Windows, follow the steps below:

Enable Developer Mode in Word and Disable updating format.

If you have an old work document and you need to be able to save and edit the file without it updating, thus changing the format, this is the fix:   On the File tab, go to Options > Customize Ribbo...
Hide rows in excel

Select the first row with no data, where you want the hiding to begin hit ctrl shift down arrow right click on selected cells, hit hide. Should look like this when you are done.
